As people have seen on my Facebook/Twitter, earlier today I created a poll to see how guys preferred their girls, with or without makeup.Here is a picture of me taken as I'm writing this, as you can see I have NO makeup on, and a horrible spot on the top of my nose! haha.
And don't even get started on the hair on top of my head!
What do you think to girls who don't wear makeup, personally looking at that picture, i'm pretty damn scared that that's what I look like. But I figure nearly every girl who see's themselves this way. I'm someone who believe that everyone is beautiful no matter what. I personally think that the whole make-up obsession with girls is a little OTT.
We don't need to wear make-up everyday, and I personally don't understand how people can never go out the house without make-up on. We should all be comfortable with our natural beauty. I wish more people could be more comfortable with how they look. There are millions of people out there, guys, girls who have all these issues about themselves, and I feel sorry for them for the pressure that they feel to be perfect. But noone is perfect, to be human, to be imperfect is to be perfect. We need flaws to be who we are.But come on guys and girls, it your turn to say something. If you could say something to a girl, a friend, or anyone who's unhappy/paranoid or negative about their appearance say it here in a comment, let me know and let others know how you see us girls.

Generally I prefer girls who don't wear makeup, but on the other hand with a little well applied makeup it can enhance the natural features really well, lipstick is good, eye liner is good, perhaps a little blusher if needed to just make the face look a little less pale, and that's about it!
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand if it makes you feel better to wear it then thats also fine, but it should not define you, and it certainly shouldnt make you paranoid about going out without it. Most women look absolutely fine without makeup, its natural and normal and real!
Should however beware of bushy eyebrows (but dont destroy them completely!) and any other facial hair!!!
(BTW Rebbie you look lovely, even with the spot, the hair is kinda cool and kooky and Im loving the cute lip biting going on there!)
Less is more i say! i highlight my features nicely with mascara and eyeliner, sometimes if im going out for a meal etc i will wear a bright red lipstick but on a daily basis i will wear more of a brown to match my eyes.
ReplyDeleteI usually only wear it on a night out now. I used to wear it every day, but it clogs the pores. I like some mascara and a little eye liner during the day if I'm meeting friends or something though. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't wear it at work and everyone else does, so it makes me feel a little insecure sometimes but it doesn't define who we are as a person if we do or don't wear it. Sometimes you have those days, well I do, where you want to wear it all to feel good about yourself, which is fair enough, it's down to personal preference I guess. :)
